PlugKit review: tested for real, limits included

PlugKit review, short version: it's the right tool if you want to run your social accounts from Claude or ChatGPT, posting and answering DMs in one place, for $49 a month and 5 accounts. It's the wrong one if your team needs a shared workspace with social listening, if your budget is zero, or if you need TikTok DMs.

By Jérémy Santos Updated on October 24, 2026

Verdict

PlugKit delivers on what we filmed on 22 October 2026: one plain-language request to Claude, a summary to approve, and the DM goes out within seconds. It's built for solo creators and small teams who want to post, chat and follow up from their AI assistant, at a flat price per connected account. If your team needs a shared workspace and social listening, a full social suite is still the better fit.

Strengths

  • Everything runs in plain language from Claude or ChatGPT, no code: one connector, one address, one sign-in.
  • Posting and messaging in one tool: Instagram, Facebook Page, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn profile for posting; Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram for messaging.
  • Comment-to-DM tested on a real account on 22 October 2026: public reply and DM received within seconds.
  • Priced per connected account, not per contact or per user: $49 a month for 5 accounts (read on 24 October 2026).
  • The AI shows a summary before creating anything, and there is a read-only option.
  • 7-day free trial, no credit card.

Limits

  • No permanent free plan, and only one account can be connected during the trial.
  • No messaging on TikTok or YouTube; LinkedIn is limited to your member profile, no company Page.
  • No Pinterest or Google Business Profile; no SMS or email among the messaging channels.
  • No social listening, and a dashboard designed for AI use rather than for a team.
  • Variable costs to watch: X billed at cost, Reel Studio (beta) video credits beyond the included ones.

On 22 October 2026, someone commented “AUTO” under one of Occirank’s reels. A few seconds later, they had a public reply under their comment and the link waiting in their DMs. Nobody touched the phone. That test, plus two others, is what this review stands on.

No score out of ten, no stars. You get the demos, dated prices, the limits, and the cases where another tool will serve you better. The site runs on affiliate commissions (everything is explained on our PlugKit affiliate link page), which changes neither your price nor our verdicts.

What PlugKit actually is

PlugKit is an API plus a hosted MCP server that gives your AI assistant access to your social accounts. You tell Claude or ChatGPT what you want in plain language. The AI prepares it, you approve, PlugKit runs it.

What it covers, according to its documentation read on 24 October 2026:

  • Posting and scheduling on Instagram (feed, reels, stories), a Facebook Page, TikTok, YouTube, X and your LinkedIn profile.
  • Conversations in one inbox: Instagram DMs, Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram, with Meta’s 24-hour window taken into account.
  • Automations: comment-to-DM on Instagram and Facebook, broadcasts, follow-up sequences.
  • Analytics: per-account stats and best posting times, with 90 days of history on Creator and 550 days on Pro.
  • Reel editing with Reel Studio, in beta, from a raw talking-head video.

PlugKit is published by Blanco AI Ltd, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, and founded by Antoine Blanco (terms and About page read on 24 October 2026). Subscriptions are handled by Whop.

Who PlugKit is really for

PlugKit pitches Creator at a single brand or creator, and Pro at agencies or anyone managing several brands. After testing, we’d narrow it down:

  • You post alone across several networks and lose time adapting every post. One sentence to your AI, one caption per network.
  • Your posts trigger comments and DMs you handle by hand. Comment-to-DM and a welcome message do that work while you sleep.
  • You already use Claude or ChatGPT and don’t want to learn yet another interface.
  • You manage 6 to 30 accounts: Pro stays at $97, with no per-user or per-contact billing.

If you first want the bigger picture on social media automation, start with our home page: it frames the problem before the tool.

PlugKit test: three demos on a real account

Every demo ran on Occirank’s Instagram account, with PlugKit connected to Claude. The first two are filmed and embedded further down this page (in French, with an English summary). You will find every video on our PlugKit video tutorials page.

1. Comment-to-DM (filmed on 22 October 2026)

The request fits in one sentence: the account, the post, the keyword “auto”, a public reply, a private message with a button to the link. Plus one instruction: show the summary before creating anything.

Claude looked up the account and the post in PlugKit, asking permission before each tool. Then it laid everything out: the watched post, the trigger word, the texts, the button. It also raised three points we had missed:

  • the link could be reserved for followers;
  • the caption never told people to comment “auto”, so nobody would have;
  • twenty comments would have produced the same public reply twenty times, hence a few variants.

Test from a second account: the public reply and the DM arrived within seconds. Two details matter. If the test account doesn’t follow you, the message lands in its message requests. And on Instagram’s web version, the message button doesn’t show in those requests, so test from the app.

2. Posting everywhere in one sentence (video out 27 October 2026)

One video uploaded once to the PlugKit library, the ready-made prompt card for publishing or scheduling on the dashboard, one sentence to Claude. Result: three dated drafts for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, each with its own caption (casual on Instagram, short on TikTok, professional on LinkedIn). Nothing went out without approval.

The trap we hit while testing: the dashboard editor has a single caption field. Per-network text only exists through the AI or the API, and saving from that screen can overwrite it. Edit your multi-network posts in the conversation instead.

3. A welcome message for every new DM (video out 5 November 2026)

Claude set up a PlugKit sequence: a welcome message as soon as someone writes for the first time, then a question if they don’t reply. It first spotted the sequence already running on the account and refused to create a duplicate.

Measured result: the welcome message arrived 8 seconds after the first DM. The follow-up question goes out after 23 hours, not 24, because more than 24 hours after the person’s last message, Meta rejects a free-form message. The dashboard only offers preset delays (immediately, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days), so a 23-hour follow-up has to be set through the AI.

What the account’s numbers taught us

  • Occirank’s Instagram inbox held 160 conversations, only 3 of them inside the 24-hour window (checked on 24 October 2026). A DM left for three days can no longer get a free-form reply: automation is first about answering on time.
  • Best time slots over 30 days: Monday 12 pm (8 posts, engagement 12) ahead of Thursday 12 pm (11 posts, engagement 9). Four slots with a single post were unusable: one data point is not a trend.

PlugKit and Claude: how the connection works

In Claude, you add a custom connector with the address https://api.plugkit.co/mcp, sign in to PlugKit and choose your access: read-only to look around, full access to post and reply. The full walkthrough is in our PlugKit tutorial. PlugKit also documents ChatGPT, Grok, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code with the same address.

One safety point PlugKit’s documentation states plainly: posting, sending a message and replying to a comment are public and immediate. The AI asks for your approval first, but that is an instruction, not a lock. Always ask for a draft first.

PlugKit pricing (read on 24 October 2026)

Plan Price per month Connected accounts
Creator $49 5 (a 6th is refused)
Pro $97 30, then $3 per account from 31 to 100 and $1.50 beyond

No permanent free plan, no published annual pricing: billing is monthly. The trial lasts 7 days, no credit card, with one account; it starts when you connect your first network, not when you sign up. Two usage-based costs come on top: X calls, billed at cost with a default cap of $20 a month, and Reel Studio video credits beyond the included ones.

The math for 5, 10, 30, 45 or 120 accounts is on our PlugKit pricing page.

PlugKit’s limits

  • No messaging on TikTok or YouTube. Its documentation explains that TikTok doesn’t expose messaging or comments to third-party apps.
  • LinkedIn: your profile only. No company Page, no LinkedIn DMs or analytics.
  • No Pinterest, no Google Business Profile.
  • No SMS or email among the messaging channels, which are Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram.
  • Instagram’s rules apply: professional account required, one private reply per comment within 7 days, 24 hours to send a free-form message. Two automations on the same post: only one will send its DM.
  • An interface built for AI: a single caption field in the editor, preset follow-up delays. If you want to do everything with the mouse, this isn’t its strong suit.
  • No social listening in its documentation, and no collaborative suite on offer.
  • Reel Studio is in beta, paid in credits, limited to reels of up to 3 minutes.

Finally, some of PlugKit’s official pages contradict each other (which plan includes playbooks, posting on Telegram, Bluesky, private messages on X). These points are still being clarified, so we don’t use them as selling points until PlugKit settles them.

Who PlugKit is not for (and what to use instead)

Facts read on 24 October 2026 on each vendor’s official pages. For the whole market, job by job, see our guide to the best social media management tools.

  • A team that wants a shared workspace and social listening. That’s what social suites are for. Hootsuite includes brand and competitor monitoring from Standard ($99 per user per month, billed yearly) and content approval on Advanced. Sprout Social offers a consolidated inbox and keyword monitoring from Standard ($199 per seat per month, billed yearly). Details in Hootsuite vs PlugKit and Sprout Social vs PlugKit.
  • A zero budget. PlugKit has no free plan. ManyChat Free covers 25 active contacts a month on 2 channels; Buffer Free, 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel; Metricool Free, one brand and 20 scheduled posts a month, LinkedIn and X excluded (see Metricool vs PlugKit).
  • TikTok DMs, SMS or email. ManyChat’s official pricing grid lists all three channels. The full breakdown is in our ManyChat vs PlugKit comparison.
  • Pinterest. Buffer, Metricool, Hootsuite and Agorapulse post to Pinterest according to their official pages.
  • A LinkedIn company Page. Buffer and Agorapulse post to both Pages and profiles; so does Metricool, on its paid plans. For Buffer, read Buffer vs PlugKit.

The quick test: write down your three most painful chores, then check PlugKit covers those three on your networks. If not, move on.

Should you try PlugKit?

PlugKit does what it promises on the ground we filmed: it turns a plain-language request into a running automation, and it shows you everything first. Its real strength isn’t one feature. It’s having posting, messaging and follow-ups in the same conversation.

If at least two cases from “Who PlugKit is really for” sound like you, the trial is worth it. Plan your test before connecting your account, since the 7 days start at the first connection. And start with comment-to-DM: it’s the one we measured.

Frequently asked questions

Is PlugKit free?

No. PlugKit has no permanent free plan, only a 7-day trial with no credit card and one connected account. After that, Creator costs $49 a month for 5 accounts and Pro $97 for 30 accounts (prices read on plugkit.co on 24 October 2026).

Do I need to code to use PlugKit?

No. In Claude, you add a custom connector with the address https://api.plugkit.co/mcp, sign in to PlugKit, then write what you want in plain language. That is exactly what Zéro Corvée video 1 shows.

Which social networks does PlugKit support?

For posting: Instagram, a Facebook Page, TikTok, YouTube, X and your LinkedIn profile. For messaging: Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram. No Pinterest, no Google Business Profile, no LinkedIn company Page (documentation read on 24 October 2026).

Do my automations keep running if I close Claude?

Yes. Claude is how you create and edit the automation; once created, it is stored in PlugKit, which replies to comments and sends the DMs. In our 22 October 2026 test, the DM went out without anyone touching anything.

Could my Instagram account get blocked?

No tool can guarantee it won't. PlugKit requires a professional account and follows Instagram's rules: one private reply per comment within 7 days, 24 hours to send a free-form message. During our test, PlugKit advised a button rather than a raw link, which is less likely to be flagged as spam.

Is Zéro Corvée paid by PlugKit?

Zéro Corvée is an independent site published by OcciRank. Links to PlugKit are affiliate links: if you subscribe, the site earns a commission at no extra cost to you. It changes neither the prices shown nor the limits we publish.
